Vinky, not another F5K

Our Vinky is an specifically designed FAI F5K model. Not another F3K converted, Is a new concept model designed according to the rules and trying to find the best solutions for this kind of competition.
We have also taken in mind during the design the transport and use because of it we have chosen a 2 piece wing solution that make it easy to pack and transport to any competition or your local flying field.
The chosen airfoils have been studied with a lot of care to achieve the best performance.
We have based our wing in the Synerj airfoils from Gerald Taylor to create a model with a great potential, our first goal was to achieve a really good ascend in thermal conditions but keeping "good legs" to cover big spaces in the field and to escape from the bad air.
Polyhedral wing with 4 servos in the wing (ailerons and flaps) make it perfect for thermal flight than a centre dihedral wing with flaperons.
The flying surfaces are actuated by 6g servo class we strongly recommend Kst 06 or Chaservo HV06. If you want a bit more of robustness on flaps you could switch the flap servo to KST X08 only adding 4 grams to the model. Elevator and rudder are operated by pull spring but we can install for you an elevator bowden made of 1mm cf rod. Easier to assembly on the field

The Vinky parts are solid Rohacell Core built with carbon spread fabric In aluminium Moulds cured at high temperatures, this makes all the parts light and stiff and also ensures a really good surface quality.
All versions includes a vertical shear web spar made in carbon fibre with improves the durability and rigidity.
the Fuse is built in HM carbon with internal presume with a 4,5Bar presume. This makes the fuse extremely light and strong. the nose part of the fuse is built in glasfiber to make it 2,4 Ghz Friendly. The nose cone is also built in glasfiber an Kevlar, so nothing will block your RF signal.
